Quick answers to help you get started

Creating a KickLang account is easy! Download the app from the App Store or Google Play, then tap "Get Started." You can sign up using your email address, or quickly register with Google, Apple, or Facebook. After creating your account, you'll choose your native language and the language you want to learn.
To change your username, go to your Profile tab, tap the settings icon (⚙️), then select "Edit Profile." You can update your username there. Note that usernames must be unique, 3-20 characters long, and can only contain letters, numbers, and underscores.
On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password?" and enter your email address. We'll send you a password reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don't see the email. For security, the link expires after 24 hours.
To delete your account, go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account. Please note that this action is permanent and will delete all your learning progress, achievements, and personal data. If you have an active subscription, make sure to cancel it through your app store first.
KickLang Premium includes: unlimited hearts for non-stop learning, ad-free experience, exclusive lessons and content, priority matchmaking in competitions, detailed progress analytics, and access to all language courses. You can try Premium free for 7 days!
Subscriptions are managed through your device's app store. For iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → KickLang → Cancel. For Android: Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → KickLang → Cancel. Remember to cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google depending on your device. For iOS, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. For Android, open Play Store → Menu → Account → Order History. Both platforms typically offer refunds within 48 hours of purchase if you're not satisfied.
Real-time competitions match you with other learners at similar skill levels. You'll both answer the same questions simultaneously, earning points for correct answers and speed. Competitions last about 2-3 minutes, and the winner earns XP and climbs the leaderboard!
Hearts are your "lives" in KickLang. You start with 5 hearts, and lose one for each incorrect answer. Hearts regenerate over time (1 heart every 4 hours) or you can watch an ad to refill them. Premium members have unlimited hearts!
Yes! You can learn as many languages as you want. Go to your Profile → Settings → Languages to add a new language. Your progress is tracked separately for each language, and you can switch between them anytime from the home screen.
Leaderboards reset weekly and rank users by XP earned. You're placed in leagues with players of similar skill levels. Top performers move up to higher leagues, while others may move down. Compete to reach the top league and earn exclusive rewards!
Try these steps: 1) Close and reopen the app, 2) Check your internet connection, 3) Clear app cache in Settings, 4) Make sure you're running the latest version, 5) Restart your device. If problems persist, contact us with your device model and OS version.
Real-time competitions require a stable internet connection. Try switching from WiFi to mobile data (or vice versa), move closer to your router, or disable VPN if you're using one. A minimum connection speed of 1 Mbps is recommended for smooth gameplay.
Make sure you're logged into the same account on both devices. Go to Profile → Settings and tap "Sync Now" to force a sync. If issues continue, try logging out and back in. Your progress is automatically saved to the cloud when connected to the internet.
First, check your device settings to ensure notifications are enabled for KickLang. Then verify in-app notification settings under Profile → Settings → Notifications. On iOS, also check Focus mode settings. On Android, ensure KickLang isn't in battery optimization mode.

Quick Troubleshooting

Try these solutions before contacting support

App Crashes

Update to the latest version, clear cache, and restart your device. Check if your OS meets minimum requirements (iOS 14+ / Android 8+).

Login Issues

Verify your email/password, check internet connection, try "Forgot Password" if needed. For social login, ensure the linked account is active.

Audio Problems

Check device volume and silent mode. Verify audio permissions in device settings. Try using headphones to isolate the issue.

Purchase Not Showing

Restore purchases in Settings → Subscription → Restore. Wait a few minutes and restart the app. Check your app store purchase history.

Slow Performance

Close background apps, ensure 500MB+ free storage, update the app, and try on a different network connection.

Missing Progress

Check you're logged into the correct account. Try "Sync Now" in settings. If recently reinstalled, give it a few minutes to sync from cloud.
